Your searches are free because why? Ads! I worked with the brave and persistent team at R/GA to consolidate and relaunch all Google's sites that help make them money. Think Google Business Profile, Google Ads, YouTube, and all the landing pages and support pages that go along with them. This involved consolidating style guides from different silos to make a unified voice and seamless experience for businesses small and large. That was retroactively done after writing lots and lots of web copy and accessibility text in a conversational way...which was then tweaked back to being more technical by the client. We met in the middle.
